Landscape Photography Workshop, Sydney

For Whom: This two days (weekend) workshop is suitable for the  photographers who already have their DLSRs and know the basics of Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, Exposure and their co-relations PLUS a little bit of experience in Photoshop or Lightroom.

What you will achieve: After this workshop you will be able to produce stunning landscape images by using the right filters, camera settings and correct editing techniques.

Our target is to achieve the right most image.

Day 1: BASIC

  • Basic of landscape photography
  • Overview on camera basics including- shutter speed, aperture, ISO, exposures and their co-relations
  • Detail discussion on filters
  • How to plan for a shoot
  • Composition basics and more…

Day 2: SHOOTING
We will visit a spot as a team (Sat/Sun) to shoot Sunrise. During the shooting we will try different shots with different camera settings and filters.

Day 2: EDITING

  • Editing basics
  • Software
  • Working with raw files
  • Working with layers, masking, colour corrections
  • Exporting final images and many more….

What to bring in the class:

  • Fully charged DSLR camera with memory card
  • Lens (Wide angle preferred)
  • Laptop (optional)
  • Notebook/Pen

What will NOT be covered:

  • Camera basics
  • HDR photography/techniques
  • Photoshop basics

Location: Wiley Park, Sydney

Workshop setup: Workshop with no more than 5 students in a personal lounge room with couches.
