Hornby Lighthouse, Sydney

Hornby Lighthouse, Sydney

This iconic Hornby Lighthouse stands tall at South Head, near Watsons Bay in Sydney Harbour National Park. I really enjoyed taking this picture of lighthouse during sunrise, specially from this different angle. This lighthouse looks magnificent when the light hits to its Red-White strips. To get this angle you have to follow a secret path from the usual way to the lighthouse (direction attached below. Red means risky and slippery rocks, thus dangerous). From this angle I got both the rocks and the lighthouse including the sea- obviously wider angle lens is a must. The lighthouse is facing toward the sunrise direction with some angle.

Secret path to the spot.
