Oceanides Sculpture, Manly, Sydney

Oceanides Sculpture, Manly, Sydney

This “Oceanides” sculpture is built just beside the Cabbage Tree Bay Rock Pool, Manly. It’s a beautiful sculpture designed and made by one of the famous sculpturer Helen Leete. Due to less space around the pool it is bit hard to play around with the sculpture in terms of composition.

I shot from this angle.

Angle: I found 1 or 2  suitable angles to capture this sculpture. Wide angle lens is a MUST if you want to include the pool.

Shot Details: D800, Nikon 24-70, 0.9 Reverse Grad, Photoshop, ISO 100, F14, 15 Sec, WB Cloudy, 24mm.

Location: Rock Pool, Cabbage Tree Bay, Manly, Sydney. More info about the location.

Parking: Parking available on streets (Bower Ln).

Walking: Approx. ~3 min walking from parking.

Caution: Rock pool is slippery when wet, narrow passage,

Thanks
